Purpose Plumbing

If you have extra money to spend, definitely go with this team. The two guys they sent were nice enough, but it was not a two man job. We needed the expansion tank on our hot water tank replaced. We purchased the tank, so it was to be a simple install. They quoted $400 CASH, more if we paid with check or CC. We were surprised by that amount, but with a leak and no water, we felt we had to go with them to get it corrected. They removed the old tank, and there was some build up on the pipe where it met the tank. Rather then simply trying to remove the buildup, they indicated they had to cut the pipe junction and replace it and the cost was now $1000.00 CASH (or more with check or CC). They were here maybe 45 minutes to an hour....$1000???? I checked the old pipes they had removed, after they left, and they were as clean as a whistle, with exception of the end, where I used a screwdriver and removed the buildup. Highway robbery. I get it, plumbers probably are making $50-$75 an hour, and there is labor, materials etc, but $1000.00. Would love to hear what other plumbers would be charging for something like this,

Thank you for coming the very next day. I could never snake eighty feet so your fee is what it is, however, your quote of $450 to switch out a non leaking drain basket is what stands out. I had hoped to do much more business in the future with you on my rentals (since my thirty year relationship with my previous plumber ended when he, unfortunately, passed away). I would not have mentioned any of this had you not asked. I wish you continued success, but perhaps it's worth considering more reasonable pricing on upselling would lead to much more long term business.

Really appreciated how quickly they responded to my request for assistance and worked with my schedule. The plumber who showed up made quick work our issues, explained what he was doing each step of the way and got the job done efficiently and well. Would definitely recommend them!

Scotty just left the house. He did an outstanding job!!! One of our shower knobs broke last night and we couldn’t turn the water off. He came over after hours and turned the water off. Today he replaced the shower handle and also replaced several sink faucets to improve our dismal water pressure. He also fixed a toilet and replaced a shower head. He was very quick, efficient, professional and friendly. I would absolutely recommend them!

Felt ripped off and annoyed. Constantly having to follow up with them. Reached out MULTIPLE times and told them the toilet they sold me doesn’t flush well, and was told “what are your friends eating?” I looked up the toilet they installed and the first review was “doesn’t flush well.” Incredibly frustrated. They also charged me $1800 for less than an hours worth of work and couldn’t give me a toilet that works properly. The receipt wasn’t itemized which annoyed me. I was given two quotes, I went with doing things “the right way” which was more expensive and the guy went to fix the issue the exact way the less expensive option was described. I felt like all my concerns were ignored. Oh and I still don’t have a toilet that flushes properly!!!

The technicians seemed more interested in what they could add on to the job I wanted them to do. When I told them no to the add ons, they seemed disappointed. Then they tried a charge a high price to just install a faucet. I will not use this company in the future as they seem to train their employees to get every dollar they can from seniors.
